These are the rules for the roleplay and OOC parts of Rai Island Forums.
Abide by them, or don't be here.

█ Another player gave me permission to take control of their character, but I don't want to get into trouble. █

So long as the other player sent a PM to an online moderator that you may take control of their character, you won't get into trouble.
However, that player needs to include the following when PMing this information to the moderator:[center]

a) the username of the person they're allowing to control their character
b) the duration of time this control is allowed

In that case, PM a moderator anyway - and include screenshots whether any moderator is
online or offline, including those screenshots in a PM; then ignore the player harassing you.
As soon as a moderator logs online, the issue will be checked and
hopefully dealt with in a fast, fair, and decisive manner.

That doesn't matter. Anyone who doesn't treat their fellow player with respect
will get into trouble. Report trolls to the mods and let them handle the issue.

It doesn't matter what you have to say in OOC, ALL OOC belongs in the OOC Chatbox(es) and/or the OOC Thread.
No moderator is exempt from this rule, therefor no user is exempt from this rule.
We just want to keep things as clear as possible; and OOC in the middle of a roleplay can be a mood killer too.

█ I don't understand. What's a 'lazy post'? █

A lazy post is when you type in something really fast and post it because you didn't take the time out to put any effort into making a post;
or they didn't bother to put any effort into using good grammar and/or spelling.

Here are a few examples of lazy posts:

Dandelion said "Hi".

Kary ask wuz up.

She just laughed.

then she went 2 teh door & called out 2 the guy she likd. "Hey there stranger! Did U need sumthing wile U wer here?"

And so on and so forth.

a) double posts or more in a roleplay, especially if they're repeating posts.

b)a roleplay post with more than 1 smiley per sentence.

c) troll posts/flaming posts.

d) when a user posts right after EVERYBODY else but is keeping their character isolated from the other characters.

█ I just got in trouble for not keeping my post/thread PG/PG-13. Why?! █

By saying "PG/PG-13", I mean don't post anything sexual and/or gory.
Your characters can kiss and make-out, but they can't do any sexual groping or things like that.
Also, don't describe the kiss in detail and don't describe anything gory in detail - if your character
gets involved in a brawl or something, don't talk about blood going all over the place; some users are seriously upset by such descriptions.

█ You said to keep it realistic! Aliens are running amok, but my character can't have cat ears?! █

By realistic, I meant explainable in an accurate manner.
For example, aliens aren't real but if they were then depending on their anatomy they probably could breathe oxygen like us.
As for cat ears, if you explain to me in an accurate and understandable explanation how a human can biologically have cat ears, then your character can have cat ears.
But if it's not scientifically possible, then no, your character may not have cat ears.
